Basuri Khala

By cpoudelPosted on October 31, 2019October 12, 2020

Dressed in traditional Jyapu attire, a roving musical group, known as basuri khala, is playing the pachhima baja (drum), the basuri (flute) and the jhyali (cymbals) on a cold Kathmandu morning. This kind of music is played on auspicious occasions and while going to temples.
